Honors English is a rigorous course concentrating on developing students' skills in critical
thinking, writing, and reading comprehension. Standards and expectations are set high in order to challenge and stimulate
growing minds.

Ninth Grade Happenings
During the month of March students are studying Romeo and Juliet.
Also during this month students are beginning work on their research topics.
Tenth Grade Happenings
During the month of March sophomores are studying Shakespearean sonnets
and Taming of the Shrew. Students are also reading Tess of the d'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy.
